Accuracy Lead. Sized vs Not Sized

I'm casting on the cheap and using Lee molds, Lee sizing dies and 45/45/10 tumble lube.

I am working with 10mm 175gr TC and TC tumble at the moment.

From 2 of my molds (two cavity) my bullets drop at .402-.403 when sized they come out a little under .401, more like .4005.

I'm thinking about shooting (testing) these bullets as dropped and not size them. What can I expect as far as accuracy goes with these unsized bullets of varying diameter?

Best condition is if you have a mold which drop bullets of correct diameter which does not require sizing. Sometimes you get lucky.

My .401 mold drops boolits at .402-.403 and I don't size them. They're accurate excluding my human factor.

It all depends on many things, size of the bore, phase of the moon, your astrological sign,,,,, lol
size of your bore and chamber will dictate what it likes best, load up 20 or so of each and try them

If the loaded (dummy) round will chamber easily, load a few. They should work fine.

I do not think you will see any difference in accuracy.

Accuracy is more dependent on configuration and especially a perfectly square base than on actual diameter.

I size all mine because I do have significant trouble with rounds which do not chamber with unsized bullets..

Concur with williamwaco; if all chamber then I seriously doubt with a typical 40 S&W or 10mm pistol you will see any difference in "accuracy".

What do you plan on launching them from?

My Colt Delta Elite likes them either way. As long as they fit the chamber (aren't too big) I don't bother sizing.
