I just got a new stainless convertible in 45 colt/45 acp
had one awhile ago but sold it decided I was missing one so off to gunbroker I went
picked up a real nice revo and I got this coming from Tom http://www.accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=45-300J-D.png,
should be just the ticket for my one stop hunting boolit

The .45 Colt is SWELL caliber for that type of hunting.. I have it in a Ruger new model Black Hawk. Haven't worked up a load for it yet but,

that Colt will do a great job for you.........Happy Hunting. (and careful reloading)

Very nice choice of both gun and boolit!

Myself I use the widest meplat I can find and usually a GC.

This is my 320gr deer load, from the Lee C452-300RF mold. These are Lyman #2 alloy so not too hard, not too soft, they shoot well over 20.5gr LilGun or 23gr H110 and don't lead.
