.458-.459 420gr mold

A guy on my hunting club forum is looking for a 420gr mold for his 45/70. Doesn't want the Hoch nose pour mold.

Any suggestions? Lyman made one at one time didn't they?

Ranch Dog molds makes one I have just now been fooling around with. It casts about 415 grains with my alloy plus lube and gas checks. Size is .462", but it probably can be sized down. Look on the bottom of the web page for a link to him.

Thanks. He is using a Sharp's rifle with a 535gr Postel but has been buying commercial 420gr boolits and wants to cast for these too.

That's the TLC-460-425? I'll have to order one for myself.
