I really couldn't be more pleased with the accuracy results today. The expansion of the "Hornady" 225gr SP bullets was rather dismal. Perhaps if I add another grain or two of "Reloader #7 the velocity would enable better expansion though I don't care to "hot rod" my rifle. Here is the final 3 or 4 shot group at 80 yards ranged. There was a noticeable difference in felt recoil and the sharper audible "crack" between 36 grains and 36.5 grains, so I may add some more velocity. There were no signs of excessive pressure with today's loads.

A fine looking group and a very beautiful rifle.

Seems like it shoots as good as it looks -- very nice.

Yes, great groups and a beautiful rifle. Now stop posting pictures of it! I am envious and want one like it too!

Emailed a friend the photo of the target and he replied I needed to move the point of aim to the left. I told him if you tear the "shiZ" out of the bulls eye you loose your most accurate aiming point, thus I was shooting for group, not "bulls eye". He may or may not understand the concept.

I don't know-looks like the dreaded inaccuracy issues of the No. 1 have reared it's ugly head. You ought to send it down here and let me have a go at it. hehehe.:kidding:
.
Very Nice indeed.

As stated, beautiful gun. Glad to see it's grouping well and more than worth the drive now.
