460 Rowland data ?

I've been trying to find starting load data for the 460 Rowland using lil'gun and a 230gr. ltc boolit.
These loads will be for a 16'' bbl so I'm thinking I should be able to use a slower powder like lil'gun
and get better results than just using heavier doses of the same powders used to load the .45 acp.
Hodgdon doesn't list any loads for this combination nor respond to emails.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I gots to ask, whose chambering a 16" .460 Rowland?

Methinks you don't have enough case for the bore to utilize lil' gun, though someone with far more experience with the cartridge may disagree.

The data I have seen runs in the range of H-Longshot, Alliant Power Pistol, Ramshot Tru Blue, etc.

well Hodgdon has loads for the 38 super so I didn't think capacity was going to be the problem, they list loads for allot of other pistol rounds just not this one.

Well...I'll be danged. There it is right there in print. In the '09 (my most current) Hogdon manual to be exact. Paired with the .38 Super.
Oddly, they show it giving very good velocity with the .38 Super, but don't even list it with .38 Super +P data. All they use there is WSF at much slower speeds. Nor do they use t with the .357 Sig, or the 10mm. Places where one would think if it worked with the Super, it would also certainly have an application. Though again, my manual is an '09 and things may have been updated since.
Well, I'll shut my mouth before I prove what else I don't know.

But I still gots to ask; what kind of 16" .460 Rowland do you have?

I had read on one gun forum of folks using lil'gun for the 460, but when I tried to find it again I couldn't.
So I figured if it's been done before some one here probably did it or knows about it, that's why this thread showed up.

Groo I am familiar with the glock forum but couldn't find an XD forum that had a group for 460R. Do you have a link?
