I just got a Lyman 225450U mold to use in my 16", 1-9 twist AR-15. I need help with a load for it, though.(Yes, I know there are about 50 threads asking this, but mine is different.) I have Titegroup, WST, Accurate No. 7, and I can get IMR 4198. What would be the best powder to use? How much? And do I need a filler? Thanks in advance for everyone's help. We really do have the best forum and the best members out there.

if you expect the action to function then 4198 is the best of what you have. No filler. Start at 9 gr and work up to 15 gr. Best accuracy will be at minimal functional reliability.

Thanks Larry. Would it be possible to use the others if I didn't want the action to cycle(which I do, but just to know and see if they are more accurate single shot)?

Certainly would, I would go with WST and use Bullseye load data (lots of .223 cast loads if you "search"). No experience with Titegroup but no reason it won't give yeoman service.
