Hello Chutes it has been a while. just remember one thing never ever hit the side of the cast iron pot with your ladle when it has lead in it hot it will crack and you will have a mess on you hands if you have not melted any lead in it yet give me a pm because I have been looking for a cast iron pot to cook in on my smoker I have a pot that will last you for ever and will never fail or break on you it is made out of heavy steel and works good for melting lead in it will hold a bit over 125 lbs of lead in it D Crockett
