Anyone have any experience with this powder for.38 special, .40S&W, .45ACP or .45 Colt? I have inherited a 8 pound of jug with the original seal intact. It is a very fine ball powder that should meter well. I understand that it is no longer made. Where would it fit in a powder burning rate chart?

You might start here: http://www.lhs-germany.de/en/service/loading-data-download/vectan-for-handguns/ Could be something in there for you. It burns about Blue Dot speed.

There are a lot of old timey action shooters who might pay some money for a can of that stuff.. I know this was a very popular powder for open gun shooters in the days before Vittavouri became popular..
