The Siamese Mauser in .45-70 I just picked up has nicely blued 26" heavy profile barrel with a mark I'm assuming is the maker's mark just ahead of the receiver. It is the outline of a left facing horse's head with a capital "F" in the middle. Any idea who or what firm might have made the barrel and approximately when? Oh yes, the rifling is pristine. GF
