I am working in the Norfolk / Chesapeake area on and off until April of 2014. Looking for locals or semi-locals to shoot with on the weekends.

Thanks in advance,

I just got back from there. Spent two weeks doing home repairs for my wife's nephew on Ballahack road. There is a range in Pungo located at 6025 Marvin Road, Virginia Beach. Phone: 757-426-9953.

I'm about an hour south of Norfolk Va. Used to live in Chesapeake for many years.

Looks like we might have the makings of a shootfest. Lars if we all meet up bring some 38 special brass with you, I need to buy a couple hundred pieces.

Would love to meet up for a shooting fest but I will need to take a quick trip home first for more ammo [smilie=2: . There is one other member who Wayne mentioned that might be interested. Hopefully he will get on this thread and speak up.

Let's talk schedules. For shooting I would guess C2 would be the best location, open to all. Good range, reasonable hourly cost. I can get with Chris (Arisaka99) and let him know what's going on, he will be on board.

Ammo and guns, drop by the house and take your choice. I don't have all my brass loaded up, but a lot of it. When will you be available?

My schedule is wide open, however I will not be shooting at C2 ever again. I was ripped off and treated very badly when they changed ownership from A&P to C2. I had a year membership that suddenly was "no good" any more when they changed. Access to the range was restricted, no offer of refund, no explanation. I talked to Kent and Al about it and got excuses instead of remedies. Al then began a campaign of insults, bad mouthing and belittlement until my membership expired. I had been shooting there for several years with no problems at all, even helping out as "fill in" Range Officer when Roger or John needed me. Shot there several times a week and never had a single issue, until Al and Kent took over.
I heard them say they were going to run the riff raff out of there, my guess is riff raff was those of us who weren't as "affluent" as the crowd they wanted to cater too. Sorry my disability checks don't allow me to shoot Cooper rifles and drive brand new SUV's. I won't ever set foot in that place again. And it's not just me, they lost a lot of long time regular shooters due to their attitudes and thievery.

Trey,
Thanks for the phone chat. I will touch base with you soon.

Wayne,
I will chat with you soon also. I am not against shooting an indoor range. I have mny 625 with me but only a small amount of carry ammo which will be fixed on the next trip home.

I'm in Norfolk, as well. I would enjoy getting together with you folks. I will not be available until after next weekend, however.
