Ruger Redhawk in .45 Colt ctg OAL?

Does anyone know what the longest bullet nose is that will still work properly in a .45 Colt Redhawk?

Max cartridge length will be 1.808 inches out to the end of the cylinder. Less .050" for good measure would be 1.758" minus the case length equals nose length.

yup to the 1st reply. i routinely use a couple of molds that puts me @ 1.785 in both the .45 Colt And .480 Ruger chambering. ya got to have the tension, crimp and brass Quality all working for and not against ya with 360g@1400 and 427g @1350! that 1.758 is much less worry in the redhawk and SRH
