first night at camp for the year

dont usually like comming out here this time of year. To many skeeters and woodticks but dad wanted to spend a few days. Hes getting up there and i think he figures there wont be to many more years to do it. Pretty sad on me though. First time ive come to camp with internet. My wifes ipad came with me. She had to show me how to work it before I left though;)

I remember the first time at our old camp with my Dad, and the last one. Yeah, the last one was sad, but all those in between more than make up for it. Enjoy and cherish the time you get. I still feel the presence of my Dad, brother and hunting buddies with me at the camp, now, and take my grandsons whenever I can. I don't mourn the ones who have past on, I celebrate their memories that I have.
