Colt M45 review

Colt sent me a M45 for review, this is the pistol the Marine Corps MARSOC just adopted.

If Tuner approved then that's something you can take to the bank. I take that to mean he found everything within spec.

Yea, I took the Colt to Tuner (he and I have become friends over the years but he is a bear to get along with for any period of time). He immediately detail stripped it and got a close look at the innards.
He actually liked the pistol (except for the rail, forward cocking serrations and ambi safety).

Hunter, I enjoyed the article. Good write up. Bad part is for some reason those new tactical tan cerakoted 1911s are growing on me and that looks like a nice one.

Thank you all for the kind words. The color took some time for me to get used to.
I was able to purchase it from Colt just the other day and I needed another Colt like I needed another hole in my head but I could not let this one go back.
I am going to keep shooting it and I may even clean it at some point and keep the article updated from time to time.
