Ok im using a http://leeprecision.com/6-cav-tl401-175swc.html that are powder coated im weighing them all out and there pretty consistant around 183 grains, anyone used anything around this combo??Hogdon Hp-38? not any reloading data for cast that I have found in my reloading manuals. any start data would help. this will mainly be my plinking range ammo so safe and accurate/consistant is what im aiming for.

I've been shooting that bullet (not powder coated, but tumble lubed) in my Glock 23 for quite a while now over 4.5gr of W-231. Which I've read is the same as HP-38. Shoots clean and accurate for me. Factory spring.

4.5 hp38 works for me PCd. That sounds a little heavy, close to pure?

Yeah I think so. I cold casted them and there testing out to about 11-12 BHN with my Lee hardness tester, testing at 10.5BHN with my RCBS tester. not sure how much if any powder coat adds.

1-1/2 gr for me. Bout .0015". That should have decent Sb, just a large mould.
