A little off topic here but i know there are many here who love service rifles and related goodies. Does anyone know who supplied the 8mm ammo for them or do they produce it themselves. It even has the Mitchell's head stamp. I came into about a dozen boxes and am curious. The headstamp lettering size and depth is consistent with Remington but i can't be sure. Anyone know?

I believe it is actually PPU, Privi Partisan. It should at least be good for reloadable cases, even if it does not shoot well.

Yeah i bought it for the brass. I have a 98 that my father brought back from the Mediterranean and i want to pull the bullets and load cast. Was curious about the origin.
