Hey all, I've been enjoying the 30-30 plinking thread and loads. I have a couple using 170gr on top of Blue Dot and a more robust (but still quite mild) load with Win 748 for the 30-30.
Looking to do the same for a levergun in 308 Win. and want to make sure I don't drop down too low or reinvent the wheel. Anyone have good plinking loads using heavier cast in 308?
I already have a good 110 grain load, but have enjoyed the slower, heavy bullets with silhouettes and gongs in 30-30 and wanted to work up similar loads for my son's 308.
