I bought a jug of this a few years ago[maybe 15],from Jeff Bartlet. How or where might i find the load data for the jug i have????? I've read that there is a burn rate difference in batches of it? I lost the load sheet that came with it. Any ideas?

I shoot a lot of 846. I was told it was the same as blc-2.

to me its allways burned about half way between blc2 and 335 so using 335 data is surely safe and to be honest ive never had pressure problems using blc2 data.

or just give Jeff a call, or look on his site for load data

Mine also seems in between h335 and blc-2, even though my lot said to use blc-2 data. It is not listed on gibrass anymore; so you would need to call or email to confirm for your lot.

Definitely not straight BLC2 in my guns........Suggest you drop down about 15% & go north from there. I initially started close to the C2 recommendation and started losing primers......but as always, lot # is everything!

As I recall, my 846 came from Pat's Reloading with the suggestions to use between BLC2 and W748. I believe there's user data on the Castipcs site also. Check there. Regards, Woody

I will get my lot number off the jug and try calling Jeff.

My lots have varied from H335 to Bl-C2 speed. I'd start at H335 starting loads and work up. If it is faster than H335 it should be labeled wc844 rather than 846. Years ago when the military started using the 844 designation it was basically 846 that was too fast.
