I have been doing some back yard math as well as research on the core die size(s) for an adjustable core mold. This is what I came up with;

40 cal brass expanded to .458 od possibly 3/8" due to the casing thickness at the base
45 acp brass sized to .458 od .430 id, .421 id and other guesses
.50 (1/2") od copper tubing sized to .458 od .361-.365

Any body have any ideas, my mold maker is waiting for me to give him a final dim., it looks like at least 2 molds eventually, one for brass jackets and one for copper tubing.

I think one mold would do it. When you seat the core, you fill the void.

Figure the diameter of the core correctly, and I also believe you can do just one diameter. The core swage die will correct the diameter and fill any voids.
