I was excited today because I had a 4 cav Lyman mold handle coming for my new NOE 4 cav mold. I thought somewhere in the mix I had tried making sure that they would work together. It arrived and I'm finding out that I can't get the holes to line up because the handle, fingers I guess you could say, aren't long enough to reach the hole. I'm so mad because my hopes were to cast tonight and shoot this weekend. Its not far and I could probably modify the handle slightly to make it work, but I was hoping to attach and cast. Any thoughts?

I had the same deal with my NOE 6 cav mold. I also have lee 6 cav mould handles. The work great with NOE moulds. So I had to use a file and file some of material on top and bottom of the arms so the mould can go back farther into the handles and pins would line up. Also took some material off the inside of the arm by the pivot so their would close better. Next time I will only buy lee handles. I hope this helps you and didn't confuse to much

The 4 cavity NOE mold I had was made for Lee handles. Has something changed?

NOE do their own fine handles for their moulds.
