I was not at all impressed. Loose wood and poor fit wood to metal. I want one , but I'll start looking at Rossi.

I looked at an old one today, just a Big Mac shy of $2000 and not much to look at. Maybe someday.

It was the new Jap Winchester. They better pick it up a bit for that much money.

+1 on that. Saw one for $1300.00.

Have two Rossi M92s. Need a little cleanup but even if you send it out for work it will be cheaper than the Japchester.

My thoughts exactly. You could put some fancy wood on the Rossi and be way ahead IMO.

Way ahead. They take a shine real well. I have had mine in 357 for a while now and it's a champ. Wanted a winchester at first too. Decided to buy this and a SA for less money.
