I just scored on for fifty-odd bucks Has the micrometer charge tube. I know it's an old design, but then again, so am I, so I bought the thing.

Is that a good price?

Dale...

I've had my B&M for 20+ years now and still haven't found a mechanical measure that compares for charge consistency. I use it for everything from BLC2 to IMR4350 and all drop +/- .1 gr every time. Don't recall what I paid for mine (at a gunshow) but if yours is completely intact and functional, I'd say you didn't get hurt a bit at $50. (If you decide you don't want to keep it, you can put me at the head of line to give it a good home.)

Yes, it is a good price. The micro drop tube goes for around $25-45 by itself.

After-market and OEM drop tubes are available on Ebay. B&M has also resume production and you can get tubes from them.

My original that I own as a display:
73099

The B&M clone I actually use:
73100

And a 'few' (13) drop tubes set for specific loads:
73101

I use (2) of them!! Got rid of 2 UNiflows and 1 Lyman 55. As stated above, the only measure I ever used that WAS consistent with 4350 and 4831 powders. Everytime!! Your price was a steal.
