I finally got a chance to catch some fish this mornin'. Coupla' bass, some really fat bluegills and a 3 lb. pond cat. A nice start on the season.

Put on some Off fish repellant, I find it keeps em from biting. Nothing itches like a good bluegill bite. Worse than chiggers.....

He thinks he went fishing. He really went "Leave Janet alone, she has stuff to get done".

I should'a taken some pictures of the couple of nice little brown trout my boy and I caught over the weekend.

Nothing big, but they were his first fish from a creek, and I think that's the first time I creek fished in about 20 years...

Way more fun than I remembered!

Dang, Jim, I have fights with my razor all the time (typically, I try to shave at least twice a week :D ), but you look like you've plumb gone to war with your razor!

We've caught 30 Bluegill in the last week here. Already had enough to fry up a batch, and they were oh so good! Congrats! We're doing more fishing this year it looks like, since 22 ammo is so hard to get. Daughter likes both shooting and fishing, so wet hooks and drowned worms are in my future a lot I think.

Cleaned my screen again with spit.....what I did noticed was it looked like the fishin hole was a farm pond not needin a license or hassling a bunch of dummies. Ok, now I just talked myself into being jealous! That is a good day!

Have 2 TA-312's, put 2 "D" cells in them and crank away.....

I see you learned the trick of holding the fish close to the camera so it looks bigger. You can make them even bigger with photo shop. That would probably even show the piece of shirt hanging out of his mouth.

Fishing is a wonderful diversion until you catch one and then it becomes work....

It's a tough job, for sure. But, even at 60 years old, I'm still tough enough to get it done. If ya' can't run with th' big dogs, stay on the porch.
