I'm getting down to the bottom of a bucket of plumbing lead that was given to me and I'm trying to figure out what this is. Anyone ever seen one of these or have any ID what it is?

LEE hardness tester is a handy item to have.

Is it easily scratched with a fingernail? From the looks it was attached to more ingots at one time, typical for plumbers lead.

I bet Soft, Nearly Pure Lead! See all the dents and the dark gray oxide. Typical of old plumber lead.

Appears to be a plumbers ingot of lead. Depending on hardness could be an ingot of almost any thing. But since it was in with plumberrs lead its a reasonable quess

It does seem to be soft, and it sounds like my plumbers lead when I drop it. I'll throw it in the pot and see what happens. Thanks guys.
