After a 4 month wait, I finally received my WH press from RCE. Since he sent only part of my order, I thought maybe I could make a floor stand for same while waiting for the rest of my parts. Am interested in seeing how others may have addressed this issue. I don't want to take up bench space with mounting as it (the bench top) is already too crowded.with various presses. As an aside, I'll be pedaling my old CHP-1 press as soon as Richard finishes my order. Would fleabay be the best (read: highest return on investment) medium for a quick sale? Just curious - would appreciate input on both topics.

Bet your fastest sale would be here in the swappin and selling threads.

There is a CHP-1 up on flea-bay now. I think he's asking $3500 OBO. You might want to see what it goes for before you decide haw to get rid of yours.

Racenviper is right. The CHP-1 is being offered at $7,250, with two sets of dies, not the $3500 I stated above. I think I was remembering the three sold at the A-Square auction that went for between $3500 &4500.

Floor stand might be the best way to go. I built the cr@p out of my bench, knowing what was going on it, and I STILL needed to mount my Walnut hill on a steel plate to keep it in place.
