I have picked through numerous posts and still cannot get a general consensus on what boolit lube i should use.
I TL my pistol Bullets but now i am getting a LAM2 and want to cast rifle bullets. velocity no more than 2,000FPS. is there someone on this forum that makes great lube for sale. i rather buy from someone here and support a local guy than to feed and waste my money on Midway, Natchez, Etc.

Thanks

You'd do well to order some lube from Lar's .

His prices and the quality of his lube won't beat.

thanks, i have heard alot of good things about White Label Lube. looks like i can use this lube for Pistol and Rifle.

any reason why i should or should not just get the 2500 lube?

2500+ is a good HV lube but will work well also in the 1700 - 2000 fps range (I haven't used it lower but suspect it works fine there also) as does Lars 50/50 lube. Either will suit your needs just fine.

I currently use 2500+ for all my boolits. .45 acp and colt, 45-70, and 9mm and it has worked nicely for all of them.
I do have some carnauba red I will be trying out soon in all the above, just out of curiosity.

thanks all,
I have always heard great things about white label lube. just had forgot the name of it until someone mentioned it again. ordered 10 sticks of 2500 yesterday. what is the average life expectancy of a stick of lube for a 1 lube groove bullet. I am sure 10 Wil last me a long time.

I use 2500 exclusively now for non 45/45/10 loads, It flows well without heat and doe the job. I use it with 2200 fps loads with success, was using LBT soft blue before White Label came along however it would run out before the boolit left the muzzle on occasion, the White Label lubes just work. Carnauba Red, BAC and 2500 will all do the job, 2500 flows the best in my sizers so that is what I use.

Buy with confidence.
