How about some pictures or good descriptions of your casting table setup? (not just a distant shot of the casting area) Maybe even with your stuff laid out like you are going to cast. I noticed when reading BruceB's speedcasting, he talks about setting everything out for economy of motion.

My casting table is on hvy. duty casters so it can be rolled out of my basement and rolled back inside when I'm finished casting.

I use a double pot system.( Actually a 30 lb. pot system ) A 10 lb. Lee " Drip -A- Matic " up top with a 20 Lb. Lee underneath. All ingots are melted in the 10 lb. pot so the temp. level of the 20 lb. pot can be maintained without putting any cold ingots into it.

I use a sheet metal chute and allow gravity to move my alloy from the 10 lb. pot down to the 20 lb. pot. All my casting is with a ladle.
