parts for Pietta cap and ball pistol

Anyone have a source for parts for a Pietta 1858 remington cap and ball revolver. I need a replacement for the clip that holds the loading lever and cant seem to find one. I ordered one from VTI a year ago and it never came( i checked with them several times).
Second option is there anyone in the group that can make and install a part like this.
any help would be appriciated.

Years ago when the lever retaining piece on my LeMat broke (I was stupidly trying to tighten [bend] a piece of spring steel) I e-mailed Pietta. I got a return e-mail, conversation with one of the Pietta brothers, and they sent me a couple of them direct from the factory. Give it a try, they were very nice to me.

are you talking about the stud thats screwed into the bottom of the barrel? if yes i may be able to help.

I am glad I have found this great site again. Look like the last post to this thread was over 2 years ago! I have a Pietta Dance Revolver and somehow lost one of the nipples, VTI lists 3 nipples, #528 which is not the right one the the Lemat #3005 and the Smith Carbine #3672. Does anyone have any idea what I need? The #528 in my Pietta Navy has a different thread. Thinking about just ordering the #3005 Lemat nipple, may work?

If it can't be found at TOTW (rare), then speaking with someone there should get you the nipple(s) you want.
