Anyone familiar with these? I've been looking for one for years, I've heard rumors that certain companies import them, but I've come up dry time and time again, and after hundreds of google searches and gun show trips. Anyone want to lay some knowledge on me?

I've seen exactly one. About 20 years ago at the old Great western Gun Show in pomona, I saw a .32 S&W long 6 incher. It was super expensive , as I recall, about the same as a Colt Python, and out of my price league. It had goofy looking grips, like those on the Olympic Rapid fire .22 short guns.

I've SEEN them, usually target models for over 2K, like above. However, I'm looking for a standard combat model, in shootable condition. I've always loved the lines. I have it on good authority that french surplus ones with roughed up finishes pop up for 950 and sometimes lower from time to time, and occasionally companies will import large lots of them.

I haven't had the luck of finding one either, and in spite of active searches for a few years on GB and other sites, I remain without.

I want one of the .32's of course...

There are now about two dozen MR73s on Gunbroker for about $600. These are three and four inch fixed sight models with matte finishes. The one I got is very shootable, but looks like hell. As advertised, the DA is unbelievably smooth and the thing is solid as an anvil. Mine has a tiny bit of endshake, but otherwise seems mechanically fine. I'm thinking of buying a couple more.

$600.00 for these? I looked at a few of them, they look like they were dragged behind a pickup on a gravel road. You can buy practically any new US made revolver for the same money or less. They are not Pythons. They appear to be Police Dept. turn-ins.

As you can tell, I can't get excited about imported revolvers.

Century arms has started importing them. I'm still not seeing any of the .32's for sale, but they've got police trade ins, thus the influx on GB.
