NOE has these in stock. I'm looking to cover several options with this one. Do you think it would be good for:

sized to .314 for 32 H&R Mag for my S&W model 16
sized to .309 for M1 Carbine
sized to .309 for light loads in 30/30
sized to .311 for my AK47

If it drops at .314 or .315, do you think it's a stretch to size it down to .309?

Thanks,
Craig

I have shot the lee 93 gr rn designed for the .32 long in .32 mag, 30/30, and sks. I have shot Seirra jacketed hp bullets designed for the .32 mag in the sks. So my slightly educated guess is that it will work. The m1 carbine would be the one I think might be a stretch. There is a good chance it will work though, particularly I you've run fp designs in it before with no feeding problems.

I wouldn't size it down past .311 if you don't experience chambering issues. If you must, I would size it down in two steps, say to .312 and then .309.

That's all I got.

Thanks guys.

Fishman: Since you have shot the 93gr in those guns, maybe I'll try my RCBS 32-098 SWC out and see how that sizes down and shoots.

Excess650: Your idea of sizing down in two steps is a great idea. Typically how far would one size down; .002 per step or greater?

I have the same mould in a 4 cavity. Primary use is 32-20's but I have "double" sized it down to .310 for 30-30 plinkers. I first run it thru a .313 die and lube it on that first pass. Then I run it thru .310 die, load and shoot. JW

I have a Lyman 4 cavity 311316 that casts .312 and it shoot well in the 7.62 x 54 @ about 1400.Also shoots great in the 7.62 Tokarev of all things.Should work in all those you mentioned.
