I finally sorted out the constantly loosening scope mount and made time to finally shoot some test loads that have been loaded for months. It did not matter whether I shot the converted .30-40 cases or my initial short necked .303 Brit cases(huge freebore with those), light or heavy boolits, some were .309" and some were .311", LLA or LBT blue lube, and different powders. They all shot well, except for 2 loads with light charges of Clays. First 4 are at 25 yds, last 3 are at 50. Bore is nice and clean as well, no leading.

A little PB boolit I was given through a bore that just had the last of my fireforming jacketed loads down it. For some reason 1 did not want to chamber:

I believe this was a 311316 GCed boolit, also given to me:
72609

311316 again with more Unique. I had another not chamber, it only happened with 2 of the .303 Brit based cases:
72610

Last 25 yd target, with the 311316, and I only had 7 .303 Brit cases left:
72611

First 50 yd with some 311334 I was also given by a fine gentleman on the board. Flier on the right was calledOnly 5 shots, the others were used to adjust the scope for low POI.:

One of my very first molds, the C309-170-F. These were .309" versus all the others being .311"
72613

My reality check. Clays did not do well.

I did not grab the target for the plain base boolit and clays, which was as bad as the above target, and a load with the 311316 and Trail Boss printed almost off paper but a similar group to the others. I guess the next step is pick one of the 2 heavier designs and start narrowing down powder and charge at 100 yards.
