It came with my Lee 4 die set, but I never used it since it swages the boolit down. Tossed a .40 S&W case in as a spacer between the crimp piece and the top plug, and now I have a dedicated .380 ACP crimp die. It would not work for a heavy crimp, but works well for removing the flair before it starts roll crimping. I may chuck the crimp plug in the mini lathe to cut or grind the roll crimp into a taper. The carbide piece sizes my brass to .377" and is a non issue with the slightly smaller .380 brass.

If you have lemons, make lemonade. Good idea.
