the pot is plugged in, (just now), and the lead is melting. It will be a good day. :-D Got a new mold to try, and we'll see what we can see.

Me too, but I have a whole box of loads to shoot today. Then the drudgery of cleaning brass, sizing, etc when done. I dare not ask the wife to do the work for me, she thinks she does everything around the house now when in fact, she is watching soaps. [smilie=l:

...and done, a quick 3/4 hour casting session, used the lee TL356-124-2R I got sometime ago, cast nicely right from the get go.
But first I used the Lee mold I got from nvbirdman, which I can't find on the Lee website, looks a lot like 358-150-SWC, but with an extra driving band and lube groove, and weighs out about 169gr on my RCBS scale, 5 weighed. that mold cast quite well, too, thanks nvbirdman!
I know guys here routinely cast 1000 boolits at a time, so casting 107 total seems like a waste of time. Nah, it was fun, right up until I got a headache, and the ants started nosing around. I have to build a casting table.
