My new toy s&w 629 8 3/8 throat ?

Just got my new toy. scope sits kinda high but I might keep the red dot.

cylinder throats measure .428 with a pin gauge.

Havent slugged the bore yet.

I do alot of rifle smithing How difficult is it to ream the throats. Any special tools needed and can I rent them?

Seems like the throats always run a little small on stainless guns.
