Does anyone have any experience with the Mossberg ATR Bantam rifles? My wife may get because of her short length of pull and the Bantam can be adjusted down to 12". They come in 308 and 243 so she will likely get the 243. They certainly are a good price.

i had two atrs. An 06 and a 243. Gave them both away to friends who needed guns. They were a bit on the crude side but were both moa guns. They may not have been pretty but they outshot guns i payed 3 times more money for so I sure dont have much bad to say about them.

Thanks for the info. The same could be said for the Mossberg 464 lever 30/30 I bought as a cheap truck rifle. It also was a bit crude but it outshot most other 30/30's at the range so I figured I got a lot more than I paid for.

My wife did buy that Mossberg ATR Super Bantam. Did the first initial sighting at our home 25 yd pistol range with factories? I don't think the scope that comes with the rifle was bore sighted but that only took three shots to fix. The next three shots were touching and CB's nearly so. We can't wait to get it on the 100 yard club range to see what it will do with CB's

I bought one for my wife since she really liked the feel. It was in between the youth Remmington 700 and it and the Mossberg is one of the only youth models in .308. Remmington only does .243 and 7mm-08. The Weatherby does .308 but she didnt like the weight.

So far she is really enjoying it, my Mom like it so much we bought her one too.
