I bought these boolits way back when I started reloading and had a few left so I thought I would use them up for my Husqvarna 30-30. they turned out to be a great choice for that gun as it has almost no throat. These are kind of like a bore rider. They are 170 grains and I have not seen a mold anywhere that looks like it. And I can't remember where I might have bought them. Help is appreciated.

One very close is the rcbs-308-165-silh I use it in the .300 Savage.

I kept searching on 309 and it never showed up. that does look like the one. It is in my cart now so as soon as I can remember what else I was needing I will get her ordered.
Thanks for the help.

I have had good performance out of the Lee 150-180gr boolits. They are similar except have a blunter nose which I prefer as they have more guidance in the barrel and hit game harder.

the rcbs 30-165 silhouette boolit [pictured above] does pretty good in tight short throats.
it fits the 308 cases quite well too.
you might also want to look at the rcbs 30-150-fngc it is shaped similar but with more bearing surface and a shorter nose.
it does very well in the 30-30 because it will go backwards into the case but has more bearing surface.
