Not long ago, I bought my first NOE mold, a 3 banger in .225 60 RN. I sat out in the casting shed yesterday for 2 or 3 hours makin' the prettiest boolits that ever made a splash in my water bucket.

I'm not a machinist, but I know quality when I see it. No fightin', no fussin', no cussin', just a steady stream of perfect boolits. Out of a few hunnerd, I had to lightly tap the handle bolt maybe twice or three times.

Al, ya' done good, buddy! Like 'Ahnold' said, "Ah'll be bock!" :bigsmyl2:

I have to say NOE are my mould maker of choice.

Great designs, range of diameters, faultless operation, excellent build quality, comes drilled for a thermometer probe, value for money price, scheduled production, responsive to suggestions, good customer communication, stands by their product 100%, well thought out ancillary tool range, Cast Boolits Vendor Sponsor, what is not to like?

my first order with NOE was yesterday .. had a problem during checkout .. screen flashed a couple times then gave an error message .. waited about 15 Minutes to see if somehow order went thru..

no email so i placed order again .. This time all went well ..
about an hour later .. sewde calls me to confirm I wanted 2 of the same molds.. very nice conversation .. only needed one.. about 4 hours later I get a shipment Notification .. Mold will be here either Saturday or Monday ..
Service at its best .. if Mold works as well .. I may be selling a lot of lee, lyman and RCBS Molds and going to NOE :)

Al makes wonderful molds.
When you order from his website it doesn't necessarily say "Thanks for your order" even if it went through. When I ordered my NOE I wasn't sure that it'd gone through, so I e-mailed. The reply came back, "all is good."

My NOE's are my best molds. They cast like a dream.

I just ordered a 311299 yesterday afternoon. Al had it in the mail yesterday evening. Now that is service.

Jim,
I told you that you would LOVE that mold!!!! I've always heard that 22's are a real pain to cast. When I got the mold I was fully expecting to throw half or better back in the pot, Wrong. Small reject rate by eye, and a smaller reject rate at weight sorting.

Ive got four now a rcbs copy 22-55gr gc in 5 cav, a 311-165 gr gc ranch dog copy in 5 cav, a 311299 5 cav gc and a .460-405 gr gc hp 4 cav. for the 45-70. I think custom molds will be my only purchases from now on. Rick!

I recieved my 1st NOE just a few weeks ago . Funny thing was I bought it because it was $1.65 more delivered for the 4C than the similar 2C RCBS from Natchez. turns out the NOE boolit is better for my needs too. Even the rejects are pretty out of 287-150 FP (hunter). The only complant I have is w/the 4C moulds (and new 6s for pistols)I'll have to spring for a 20# pot soon because the 5# preheater and 10# pour pots just run out too quick.

I have received my first NOE this week from a GB. I haven't been able to cast with it yet but it makes me happy to even just hold it and look at it. I can't wait to put handles on it and put it to work.

Welcome to the fold Jim. When it is time for a new mould I always look to NOE 1st. I like their products. They make RN boolit moulds when others don't. Just plain top shelf. I clean em', run them through the heat cycles, and cast away!! They do like to cast hot though.

I'm just waiting for the H&G 34 clone to come out again in a 4 cavity (fingers crossed).

And the list goes on, I now have 4 of the NOE molds, all are superior, Al has another in the works in a couple weeks, that'll be #5, I did do a mod to my molds, all are 4cav, I got the 5cav sprue plates and fitted them to the mold to use a lee cam lever to break the sprues, no beating and banging for me, bullets jump out of these molds, just do what Al suggest and then I do it again, they are a piece of art.

I think I have about 14 NOE moulds, the only improvements I think they need is a thicker sprueplate with a trough (like H&G). I have started troughing my NOE moulds, as well as my Lee 6 cavitys, and a couple of 4 cavity saeco's. My Miha's already have a bit of a trough so I have let them be.

I've been waiting for months to order a 269 145Gr. FN 2 cavity 1GC 1PB NOE mold for months but they were always out of stock. After reading this thread I double checked their website and they (finally) have stock. I just ordered the mold and 1 handle . . . I can't wait to try it out.

Love Life - You're going to like that H&G 34 clone mold. I shot my first bunch of that boolit today - very nice. And very accurate to boot. I'm happy. Mike AND PS - you guys getting ready to use your first NOE mold - DO follow the instructions ( pre heat & so on) that come with the mold. The mold works even better when the instructions are followed.

Ordered my NOE 311299 last Saturday night and got it this morning. I'm using 50/50 Lino/Pb and it's perfect: Nose .3015, Driving Bands .312, GC Shank .285, and weight 201.5 gr. Looking forward to range time with .308 and '06. Thanks NOE!
