These 3 washers came, they look like lee stuff. One is a lock-washer, 2 are spring washers. WHERE DO THEY GO, OR HOW ON THE SPROO PLATE? I do see the allen wrench screw on the side of the mold. How do you have your sproo plate screw?

My lyman mold came with 1 spring washer . The order it was in was mold then spruce plate then 1 spring washer. The spring washer goes to where the outer edges of the washer is on the spruce plate . Then tighten down snugly not really tight just enough so the spruce plate doesn't open on its own and then just a tad more you don't want the spruce plate to jiggle up and down when you try to lift it off the mold. Then tighten down the allen screw on the side of the mold to lock the spruce plate screw in place . Also scrub the mold of oils and such with a tooth brush and dish soap and dry really good with air from a compressor or even a hair drier will work don't let it air dry .

thanks Vorga, use to park my 18 wheeler over at brookshire tx and sleep across from flyin-j. Then run down to luling to the city market for some brisket. Fuels to high, i miss hauling cars to california.

I'll heat this mold on my hot plate. and give the drip-a-matic a whirl. All i have ever used is lee molds. Handles should be here friday.

The lock washer is an original Lyman part from the look of it. If you decide to use it polish off the ends so it doesn't grab when the sprue plate is swung. When you have the sprue plate pivot bolt out check to make sure the allen screw in the side that locks it will turn in all the way. Most of the threaded holes are tapered on the end and the screw binds. I chase the threads out with a 10-24 bottoming tap.
