Well I had an unexpected visitor today. My friend's father stopped by to talk casting. He wants to shoot lead out his 44mag because he can't find any j-word bullits. So I showed him a few molds I had in 44 to see if he saw anything he liked. Where this was going, I was planning on makeing some up for him next time I did some casting. Well he pulls a mold out of his back pocket and asks if I would like to trade that for my Lee 2 cavity 240 grain 44 mold.

My Lee 2 cavity mold hasen't been used in years since I upgraded that one to the 6 hole mold. I wasen't going to miss it so I told him I would trade.

Bottom line: did I get screwed on my new used Saeco #290301?

I couldn't find any info on a Saeco #290301 with a quick search, but if it is good condition, it is worth much more than a Lee two cavity.

Did you include a few ingots of lead to go with the Lee two cavity?

196 grain? thats about what I thaught it might be. Well actually 190-195 was my guess. We also traded boxes of gas checks, so I think he made out like a bandit there.
