Colt Python Serial Number Question

I have been looking at a beautiful 8" Python that has a "K" prefix followed by a 5 digit number. I went to proofhouse, and there are no dates for any k prefix gun. I am just wondering if anyone knows what year the gun might have been manufactured and any other details that might be of interest. The number is K19355.
