what exactly would you like ?

I have a mold with both, PB and GC cavities.
They drop at .271

For my custom Jap (6.5x257R) the bore is .2685, I size them to .270 and lube with FWFL in a lubesizer.

I also have a lapped out push-thru sizer (.269), then tumble lube or pan lube. I also have a .267 die.

what size is your bore ?

I love the mil surp 6.5
I have a couple in the swede caliber also...but haven't loaded for them yet.

Bore is .265 slugged from the muzzle and went down easy midway so may be .266. Do you think .268 would do he trick? If you could send me 50 gas checked and sized I would appreciate it. I will PM you my address. I have gas checks 0n order.I have dies and cases but cannot get the bullet mold I want which is the NOE 269 145. NOE said not to July. Thanks, Matt

I just double checked,
I don't have a .267 die
it is a .266 die
Jon

PS, I don't have any with no lube, so I'll have to cast them. since that is the case, what alloy do you prefer ? a target hardness ?
I have cast them with sweetened WW, but have since changed to using 94-3-3 for all rifle boolits.

I'd tried some of his boolits in my 6.5x257. Very nice! Bore was clean as a whistle.

I fired up the lead furnace today...sweetened WW alloy.
Look at all the 6.5's !!!

I'm so jealous. I can't find a 6.5 mold anywhere. Even during normal times, doesn't seem to be a normal mold to stock?

Almost makes me want to cry.

I would like to run 2400 powder. Has anyone had decent accuracy with 2400 and the NOE bullet?

Still working on it in my Carcano. Have some 2400 loaded now. Just need to get to the range. [sigh]

Sixpointfive. Not sure if you were in any of the other threads. NOE just posted a bunch of 6.5 molds in stock
