60 gr NOE RN, 16.5 gr of IMR 4895 & filler. 100 yard distance. The black square is 2"x2"
I was going for group and was aiming at the center dot. Hitting mostly high right but was going for best group at this point. Once I figure this out I will re zero
Been trying to develope a load with the help of the fine folks here. Shot this group at 100 yards. 3 holes pretty much touching, 1 flyer & 1 didn't even hit the paper. What the heck? The only thing I can come up with as to why the 4 holes are so close together is I must have wiggled the same way 3 times and was slightly off on the 4th shot. I could live with the slightly off hit but missing the whole paper after getting the other shots so close together, man that has me bumfuzzled. I used dacron filler as per the instructions in Larry's how to. I had never tried that before and am pleased that everything worked as advertised. I don't have an electronic scale so I did not weigh the individual bullets but how far off would one have to be to miss the paper with the others grouped so close together?

Casting for my Rem 700 in .223 looks to be a challenge but I like challenge. I just hope I figure out the problem. Any tips?
