Why wouldn't this work? If you sprayed in a liner, something like "line-x"?

Any thoughts?

I looked at that thing.

1 1/4 cubic ft sounds small. It is NOT small.

I've got a similar one. It takes up a rather large chuck of my workshop. Filled it with walnut shells.

A cement mixer works quite well. I'm using this one.

But... we have 1.25 tons to process. Most shooters will be happy with a 15lb tumbler.

I just came back from harbor freight today. 1.25 CF is small if you have a dump truck of casings to process but a 15# tumbler isn't practical for my needs. For 30 bucks of spray coating on the inside it looks like this one will fill the bill. It's good to know that a cement mixer works well. How many pounds of steel pins worked for the 4 CF one?

i think you spend more in pins then you did on the mixer on top of that add water you better make a lid they will start coming out the front in the splash. Now on the walnut you don't have that problem well I have not. But I also think it may have a lot to do with the shape of the mixer you get.

In my 40pound commercial, I clean 14 pounds of brass with 15 pounds of SS pins. I tried cleaning more brass with less SS pins and it did not do a good job at all.

Being as a cement mixer stands at a tilt I'm guessing about 20# of pins?
