Maybe this is a better location . . .
Ok, a whole bunch.

Years ago I traded some Martini Cadet PARTS for a complete Francotte rifle. Yeah I liked that deal and so did the guy that got the parts. It gave him most of the parts he needed to have a complete action.

Luckily some formed cases came with it. After several years I figured out that 357 Max trimmed and run into a 300X221 die would form the case. Neck thinning may be needed.

Imagine a 357 Max trimmed to 1.570" - 1.575".
Necked down in 300X221 die to set the shoulder at 1.190".

Anyone ever seen such a critter?

The guy that traded with me said it belonged to and "OLD" shooting buddy that was a gunsmith tinkerer and that he shot Schutzen matches with it
Barrel is out of one of his competition 308s that had the chamber shot out.

ALL of that claptrap to get to the point (FINALLY).

Anyone have some suggested boolits and loads for such?

I have loaded it with Hornady 130 SSP bullets to hunt here around the house, and it shot them well. Worked up from 300X221 loads

Seems like it might be fun to use it send big ol lead boolits down range and see what it will do. Well maybe 120s to 150s since that is it for molds at the moment.

Got any 1680? I use 17grs under a 150 in my 300 AR.
