Very easy recipe.
I combined a Philipino and a Mexican marinade and it's about as good as it gets.
1/2 Cup 7-Up
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1.5 Tablespoons of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce (or more)
Juice from one whole lime.

Optional: 1/2 Cup Banana Ketchup, can be hard to find, but worth it. However, you do not have to have it for a good marinade.

3 to 5 pork chops, bone in or boneless.
Rinse the pork chops and drop in a large zipper bag, pour in all the liquids, zip bag closed and shake it up. Put in the fridge and shake it up about every 6 hours.
Grill the following day. Or you can fry them in a pan on the stove, but I think grilling tastes much better.

Is Tabasco Chipotle Sauce the same as regular Tabasco? I've never heard of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce .

I'm always ready to try a grilled pork chop recipe, some can really be awesome.

It's not the same, it's Tabasco Chipotle sauce. Darkish brown in color with a really good smokey flavor.

Upfront apology-can''t help myself: Tobasco Chipotle is good, real good. Cholula brand Chipotle, for my taste buds, has more pepper and less vinegar taste. I like the Cholula better. Try em both!

Banana Ketchup?

It can be hard to find, you may need to go to an asian grocery or order it online, it's a traditional sauce for a lot of filipino food. There's two kinds, the red is spicey, the yellow is sweet and mild. I use the yellow for this recipe, the red I use for beef. Up there in the Tidewater area of Virginia there's a significant filipino population so banana ketchup, and filipino foods in general aren't uncommon. The next time you get to Norfolk I bet you can find some.

Thanks for the tip! No apology necessary, I'm always looking for new stuff to try and I'm willing to accept improvements on recipes I come up with. I'll have to find that Cholula to try some.

Virginia Beach is a sister city to one (i can't remember which) in the Philipines. A bunch of Filipino nurses work up there (or did) I'll have to look and see if there's a grocery I can find easily next time I go up there. I'm already jones'n for some Samosas from Swagat grocery http://local.yahoo.com/details?id=94274681&stx=indian+grocery+stores&csz=Virginia+Beach+VA and now i have to look for this!

I found one that lists banana ketchup! http://www.melysmarket.com/
