That if I put these two in the safe to close to each other.

Nine months later I'd have one of these.

That's the story I'm giving the Wife and I'm sticking to it.[smilie=1:

It has happened to me before. I have also had .22's try to breast feed from the .44's.

I have had the same thing happen time and time again!

Just make sure the wife isn't around when you clean the gun safe!
We don't need to talk about how I know. Although I'm healing quite well!

Several years ago, Pat McManus did an article on gun's ability to breed in a gun cabinet when set next to each other. He laid partial blame on humidity, if I recall correctly.
I recommend the article to anyone who has experienced this phenomenon. Although, be aware, he was never able to make his wife understand that nature will find a way!

What happens in the safe, stays in the safe! My wife doesn't go into my gunsafe, so she is not worried about what's in there. We both like it that way. As long as I don't have to buy another safe she's fine with it.

That sounds like it might work for me. Do you know if it works on rifles? I will let you know what happens in 9 months!

It may, but you'll probably end up with hand made Afghan AK47s.

I have the same problem. I tell my wife that guns are like clothes hangers, they breed in the dark.

Unfortunately my wifes gun collection breeds just *about* as fast as mine. Can we say "honey I really like that new rifle you got and then built on.............."

Translated that means: "There damn well better be one of those guns in MY safe too Art. And no skimping, I want the springs and triggers that you have on that rifle TOO!"

Yes, I have learned woman talk over 32 years of marriage!

i find that letting my wife try out friends guns at the range. some time gets her to say "i like how that shoots can we get one?"

hence my now looking for a nice target grade 38/357 revolver.
