Swedish Mauser codes ??

Picked up a couple of 1896 Swedish Mausers at a pawn shop. Wondering what the two initial code is in front of the serial numbers. Wandered around on the net for an hour or so without finding the answer so thought I would ask here. One has the initials M.B. and the other has H.K. underlined. Any help??
