Graf & Sons shows the convenient 8 lb. family size container of IMR 4227 is available. Also, most of the Black Powders, except Swiss 1.5 and 3f.

I chimed in on another thread about this very powder. The comment was essentailly that 4227 seemed one of those powders that was the last to remain on the shelves cuz many just don't know about the virtues of the stuff. Here it is again, available when others are not, eh?
It's about at the very TOP of my list for a few calibers, but mostly 45 Colt.

I have noticed that too. I keep a good bit of it on hand after all its the powder that goes both ways.

I use it there sometimes too (45 Colt,) but it always seems to leave a lot of unburned kernels lying around.......

I was raised on 4227.
Where can I find a good load data source for this powder?
The books I have do not really have a lot of data on this powder.
