I recently picked up these dies. Old CH (by Roddy) swaging dies. One is for .357 SWC and the other is .454 and looks like a wadcutter.
Wondering what press these were originally intended for as the nose punch has a holder not typical for use in modern presses.
I'm going to make some new punches to work in my press. I am simply curious about the history on this kind of die.
Thanks!

So the the part with the punch holder is the ram out of a Swag-O-Matic?
Thanks for the link...

Those fit any standard press except the Rockchucker. The nose punch replaces the ram, the rest screws into the die station. They make good pistol boolits but it takes a lot of "grunt" on the typical 4 to 1 mechanical advantage press. They will not work on the Swage-O-Matic as it uses larger dies and a different nose punch setup.

the swag-0 works upside down from your dies there.
the 'ram' is the part that sizes the body and the nose punch is stationary in the screw in punch.
the 'die' part is also like 1-1/16 or so in diameter.
i have a set of c-h like these they fit in my rock chucker and the punchs fit in ram, shell holder type. maybe newer model dies. also have a swage-o- matic totally dif dies.
