hs6 with 165g lead in .357 mag. any suggestions?

The lead is 165g flat base round nose,no gas check.is it ok to use hs6 in unchecked boolit?and if so,... The data i have says starting is 6.5g in .357. Anyone out there have good results?

HS6 and W540 work well for my 159 gr plain base boolits in 357 mag revolvers and levers.

So 6.5g hs6 is a good start? Pistol is ruger gp100,bull barrel.
