Thread pitch for hammer retention screw on trapdoor springfield?

Hi all,I need to make a screw for an old trapdoor. Anybody know the pitch for the hammer retention screw,
I found on another board that is is .187-26, and seek confirmation before I make a tap to clean up the threads, and a screw to fit.
